He’s now lost the support of people who would already be inclined to agree with him. It’s not like the comments of Marginal Revolution are exactly a haven for ‘the left’, yet even they see he’s a grifter, judging by the upvote/downvote ratio (as I said months ago, in June 2022):
He cannot maintain the patina of being a pretend intellectual anymore. He’s just another crypto shill, who got lucky and rich early on despite being otherwise so mediocre at life, who like other latecomers latched onto a movement for personal gain.
