The big story is the Trump administration’s reversal and denial of the Epstein list. Last night, Trump put out an incoherent rant telling people to ignore Epstein, generating confusion and anger among some of his online “supporters”, which I add in quotes because I also believe some of this controversy is part of a demoralization campaign to split his voters and discourage turnout, similar to when Trump attacked Iran. As I correctly predicted, the Iran attacks were a success, and quickly faded from the news soon after. What I mean is, huge ‘influencer accounts’ continue to push this ‘Trump betrayed us’ narrative to sow anger and confusion among the ranks of ‘MAGA’.

Oh, Coffeezilla , the guy who reports on crypto scams and profits from the ad revenue his videos generate after everyone has already lost their money. Always a day late and a dollar short. Now we’re supposed to trust his political commentary too.
The credibility of the Trump Administration has been completely and utterly destroyed.

“The credibility of the Trump Administration has been completely and utterly destroyed.” It hasn’t. This is an invented narrative. Similar to Iran, the vast majority of voters, who are not on Twitter, do not care that much about Epstein. It’s a low priority for them. It would only be destroyed it there was a smoking gun linking him to the list or an outright admission.

The hope is that the media reports on the confusion and anger, amplifying it. There is nothing the left-wing media wants more than for division. It’s about demoralization. The liberal media would much rather have MAGA turn on Trump than justice for Epstein’s victims.
This is not to absolve Trump. It’s possible he’s on the list or is somehow being blackmailed to not release it. It’s possible a deal was worked out in which Trump withholds the list in exchange for silence. Trump has long showed a disinterest in the Epstein files. In 2024 he hinted at possibly releasing it, but never made it a priority:
Trump was asked in an interview on “Fox & Friends Weekend” last month whether he’d “declassify the Epstein files” if he was re-elected, and indicated he had concerns about doing so.
He initially said, “Yeah, I would,” before hedging. “I guess I would. I think that less so because you don’t want to affect people’s lives if it’s phony stuff in there, because it’s a lot of phony stuff with that whole world. But I think I would,” Trump said.
Online, no one cared that much either until last month when Elon Musk made it an issue. I don’t believe Elon was ever in possession of the list, which is why Trump called his bluff. Elon can try to press him on the matter, but Trump still has leverage over him. Elon has to weigh if the loss of personal wealth is worth it.
If Trump was to divulge the list, it could lead lead to his resignation, such as actually being on the list or other info being made public. In the second case, this info would be released leading up to the 2028 election, when it would cause the most harm.
Trump’s reversal does not make him look good, obviously, but it’s not that big of a deal either. Most voters do not care. Similar to Iran, it’s only a vocal online minority. The smart move for Trump is to just ignore it , as it appears to be an unwinnable situation.
Another possibility is that there is insufficient evidence to release any names, although the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell casts doubt on this. To release the names implies that there is enough evidence to indict and arrest the individuals named. Without this burden of proof being cleared, they are still presumed innocent even if they mingled with Epstein or were part of the client list.
