Imagine waking up to the trending hashtags on Twitter “#trumparrest”, #trumpindictment”, or “Indictment Day”. Your heart races or sinks…it must be related to the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, Jan 6th, or something to do with Russia? Or taxes?
You’re thinking “this is it…it’s happening!” You hurriedly click the hashtag on the sidebar only to see it’s about…Stormy Daniels? Huh? The name is possibly familiar, but it’s certainly not what you were expecting.
At least for me. I was thinking, “Oh man, I was wrong!” But I wasn’t. As I predicted here, Trump would not be indicted after the Mar-a-Lago raid (at least not so far), or for anything to do with Jan 6th.
It shows how hard predicting this sort of stuff is. Most people were thinking it was about the FBI raid, but it was something completely unrelated. It also shows the lengths the left will go to see that Trump is behind bars even if it backfires politically. It’s not hyperbole to say that it’s like the USSR.
