Why are so women underrepresented in computer science?
Why not turn it around and ask, why are men so underrepresented in psychology? Yet there is no outrage by the left over that. Perhaps the left understands, and correctly so, that computer science is a higher status degree and career than physiology, but still, don’t blame sexism. Another possibility is an inability of the left to do basic math: college attendance is roughly 50% male and 50% female, so it’s a statistical certainty some majors will have more males than females. The left also ignores the even male-to-female ratio for math majors:
The decline of female CS majors mirrors the rise in other majors, suggesting women are choosing biology and psychology over CS and engineering.
