So now he admits they are only being detained, not imprisoned for 15 years or tortured and poisoned as he originally claimed last week?

Do you know who else detains protestors? Everyone. Every country has detained or arrested protesters at some point. For example, 10,000 protestors were arrested during the George Floyd riots in 2020.
More than 10,000 people have been arrested around the US during the protests, as police forces regularly use pepper spray, rubber bullets, teargas and batons on protesters, media and bystanders. Several major US cities have enacted curfews in an attempt to stop demonstrations and curb unrest.
Yet again, America is guilty of the very things [the media] accuses Russia of being guilty of. Regardless of whether or not you agree with why people are protesting, Russia arresting protestors en masse is hardly unique to Russia.
It’s still funny how Tooleb is held up as a genius or an ‘independent thinker’ when clearly he’s neither. He’s just a shill for the left, whether it’s Covid, vaccines, IQ, social justice, Ukraine… everything.
