Is the ‘deep state’ and its partner Facebook trying to censor Jordan Peterson? Not to sound too conspiratorial, but the timing is suspicious. It all began on February 3rd when Sam Harris and Jordan Peterson got into a Twitter spat. Sam posted:
I have to "dispense with consciousness"? Jordan, my ethics are entirely grounded in the reality of consciousness. And I've repeatedly said that consciousness is the one thing in the universe that *cannot be an illusion.* (Sort yourself out!)https://t.co/Rye3maN18R

Hours later Dr. Peterson responded:
Well, hopefully we'll get to understand each other better when we talk in Vancouver. Apologies for any misunderstanding, but you're a complex guy 🙂 https://t.co/N4X1PRfCSS

Dr. Peterson tweeted about his upcoming discussion with Sam Harris:

And soon after, 12 hours ago, Facebook locks Dr. Peterson out of his Facebook account:
Facebook has now made it impossible for me to login; requiring photo id, which I uploaded: no indication of why, or when they will reinstate my access. What the hell?

Due to public pressure and fear their attempts at censorship would be so obvious as to arouse suspicion, they reinstated his account:

It could just be an accident or a coincidence that the lockout coincided with Dr. Peterson challenging Sam Harris, but it makes you wonder if major social networks such as Facebook are engaging in censorship based on Twitter and other public history.
