This is like the infamous 1996 WWE “curtain call” incident, where the characters break kayfabe and hug each other, revealing the entire act to be a setup. The difference is today no one is even trying to hold character anymore, as no one cares that much. As it’s said, “it’s a big club, and you’re not in it.”
This agrees with earlier posts about the “big tech” being the biggest winner of the second Trump administration, despite nothing in ‘23-24 and their CEOs opposing him. Big tech actively censored Trump’s supporters for supposed Covid “misinformation” or for questioning the outcome of the ‘20 election, and are rewarded by being given the VIP treatment.
Those who donated and supported Trump the most got the least. Regular voters have nothing to show but surging living expenses and an Iran war. Crypto donors, on the other extreme, who donated a lot and hosted Trump at a 2024 event, got no Bitcoin reserve and only “shitcoins”.
The tech and China friendship also refutes the common , popular notion that you can buy power; crypto donors paid heavily and got nothing. Big tech paid nothing and got the red carpet. China were supposed to be the bad guys (intellectual property theft, anyone?) and now all is forgiven. It’s all wresting, in the end. Likening politics to pro wresting is cliched, but it’s still the most accurate analogy there is.
